WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE RENTING
-DON’T BRING BIG OR RIGID SUITCASES, the llaüt interior space is limited. A lightweight duffel bag or backpack is ideal.
-THE WEATHER IN FORMENTERA IS VERY GOOD FROM MAY TO SEPTEMBER. You won’t need lots of clothes on-board. A bathing suit, beach wrap, flip flops and a t-shirt may be all you need. At night it might get a bit chillier, so bring long sleeves, pants and a polar fleece or rain jacket. If you plan on using the rubber dinghy provided to get off the llaut, expect to get a bit wet up to the waist, so bring you fanciest outfits only if you are going to get off at the port.
-THE BOAT IS EQUIPPED WITH BED LINEN AND PAREO WRAPS THAT CAN BE USED AS TOWELS.It also has a indoor WC and an outdoor shower (hot or cold depending on the chosen llaüt).
-THE KITCHEN IS EQUIPPED WITH BASIC KITCHEN WARE FOR COOKING. We recommend easy to prepare summer-type meals such as salads, sandwiches, fresh fruit, pasta, combined with meals in the beach bars. It’s not always easy to cook on a boat and it is easier to get dizzy inside than on the deck.
-CHOOSE YOUR BOAT COMPANIONS WISELY. The ship is an small place that requires order, respect for others, tolerance and adaptation to the environment.
-DO NOT FORGET SUNSCREEN, sunglasses and medications that you use regularly, including motion-sickness pills (Biodramina).
-PLEASE REMEMBER THAT THE ACTIVITY IS SUBJECT TO WEATHER CONDITIONS, what may be perceived as a mildly annoying windy day can pose a serious threat on sea.
